A response to a brief entitled ‘Non Commercially Viable Magazine’.

The brief required me to produce a hypothetical publication documenting a social group of my choice, that was not already covered by a popular magazine or paper.

I chose to document cinema projectionists. I held interviews and took photographs in picture houses across the region, and used the information to inform the structure of the design, for example the size of the page (as the name sugests) is approximately twenty-one by nine units, the round numbered equivalent of the ratio of a standard cinema screen.
